An event to remember! The Museum hosted the adavanced movie screening of "The Wonder of it All" by Jeff Roth. People who attended this event include: the director of the movie, Oklahoma State officials, a Houston designer, and many well known people of the City of Weatherford.

General Stafford's class reunion was held on Saturday May 31st. The Class of '48 was celebrating their 60th class reunion. Among those attending was long time friend of General Stafford, David Tautfest. Tautfest is also the class president. Also, one of the museum's volunteers, Mary Page is apart of the Weatherford High School graduates of '48. The reunion ended with a tour led by General Stafford and a dinner following this.

General Stafford and Andrew Chaiken(Author of "A Man on the Moon") gave an indepth tour of the museum for an educational workshop on May 17. The workshop, held at the Stafford Air & Space Museum, was hosted by The Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority. Around 35 people attended.

General Stafford came to the Museum board meeting on Tuesday March 25. It was great to have him show up! Stafford was able to share the details of many upcoming events. Also present was a boy scout troop meeting requirements for a merit badge.

General Stafford came to the museum to attend our Volunteer Brunch and the unveiling of the new KGA Lt. Gen. Thomas P. Stafford Austronaut, Commemorative Bench. General Stafford spoke to the volunteers about the great job they are doing and also presented Jim Friesen as the volunteer of the year. General Stafford drew the images that were laser cut into the new commemorative bench.

Lt. Governor Jari Askins toured the museum on Thursday January 24. General Stafford gave Askins a tour of the museum. General Stafford stated "We are honored the Lt. Governor would come here to emphasize the education of science."

Senator Inhofe visited the museum Wednesday, January 9. General Stafford was there to greet him and take him on a tour of the museum.
